Restore station data

Restore a .wfdb package to recover or move the local observations for one station.

Open Settings › Backup and Restore and choose Restore Backup…, or open a .wfdb file with Weather Fusion.
Review the provider, station, record counts, and restore impact.
Choose Restore.
Select the restored station when it appears in the station list.

Weather Fusion merges compatible restored rows into the station database. Provider authorization remains device-specific, so reconnect or reauthorize the provider when the destination device requires credentials.

The restore finishes as soon as the backup data is stored. Weather Fusion then updates the Day, Week, Month, and Year summaries of the restored station automatically, and the station’s Activity section shows the progress. Restored observations are available immediately; Historical shows Summaries aren’t ready yet until the update finishes.

Keep Weather Fusion active until the update finishes. If the app closes first, the update resumes the next time the station is selected. When history must first be downloaded from the provider, the update waits for that download. If Day, Week, Month, or Year values still differ from the restored observations afterwards, recalculate summaries.

Keep the original backup until the station and historical periods have been verified.
